Cosmetic Dentistry Under New Ownership / Management
The Best Cosmetic Dentists in Arizona
Our cosmetic dentistry treatments with good reviews offer you a series of elective treatments that uses advanced techniques to improve the color, shape, alignment, and symmetry of teeth, resulting in a natural, attractive appearance. Cosmetic treatments, from minor imperfections to complete smile redesigns, are designed to your individual goals for both looks and confidence.

Smile Makeovers
A smile makeover is an all-inclusive, individualized treatment plan that combines several cosmetic procedures, such as whitening, veneers, crowns, orthodontics, and implants, to create a well-coordinated, glowing smile. This approach can address your aesthetic goals as well as functional concerns, such as bite issues or missing teeth. The result is a dramatic improvement in both appearance and self-assurance, tailored exclusively to you.

Veneers & Porcelain Veneers
Veneers near me are ultra-thin, custom-made shells made from composite resin or porcelain and bonded to the front of teeth to correct flaws such as chips, stains, gaps, and slight misalignments. While composite veneers offer a quick, artistic solution, porcelain offers lifelike translucency that is long-lasting and sturdy. Both options deliver striking, natural-looking results that improve your entire smile.

Teeth Whitening
Professional teeth whitening rejuvenates dull or discolored teeth using safe, effective bleaching agents, such as carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide. This process lifts deep stains and surface discoloration for a noticeably brighter smile. Your options include in-office treatments for immediate results, custom take-home kits, or convenient disposable products.

Invisalign Clear Aligners
Invisalign clear aligner therapy uses a series of individually designed, transparent trays to gradually shift your teeth into optimal alignment. These removable aligners are virtually invisible, comfortable to wear, and free of metal brackets or wires. Easily removable for brushing, flossing, and eating, rendering them a convenient solution for teens and adults seeking a discreet, effective way to achieve a straight, self-assured smile.
Restorative Solutions
Professional Procedures to Repair or Replace
Restorative dentistry is dental care that is primarily focused on replacing or repairing decayed, damaged or missing teeth with a goal of bringing your teeth back to normal function for optimal health and ease of speaking. It helps you protect what you retain, stops the worsening of major issues and re-aligns your smile.

Dental implants
Dental implants are advanced restorations that replace missing teeth by anchoring biocompatible titanium posts directly into the jawbone. These artificial roots integrate with the bone to support crowns, bridges, or full dentures, delivering exceptional stability and protection for the jaw. Full mouth implants resemble the look, feel, and function of natural teeth for a long-lasting, discreet solution.
Crowns
Unlike basic fillings, crowns fully encase a damaged tooth, ensuring strong protection and supporting everyday chewing and comfort. Crowns are finely crafted using top-quality materials such as gold, porcelain, or zirconia, ensuring both sturdiness and a natural appearance. They are recommended for people with cracked, heavily worn, or root-canaled teeth, rendering them an essential choice for restoring function and aesthetics.
Dentures / Partials
Dentures are personalized prosthetic devices designed to replace multiple or all missing teeth, restoring your smile’s appearance and function. These removable appliances are custom-fitted to your mouth, helping you chew effectively and speak clearly. By supporting facial muscles, dentures also maintain a youthful profile and enable a more varied diet.

Bridges
Dental bridges are tailored dental restorations that span the spacing left by missing teeth, anchoring securely to neighboring teeth or implants. The natural-looking solution restores your function, speech, and smile.
Root Canals
Root canals are advanced dental procedures aimed at saving teeth threatened by infection or severe damage. At the heart of each tooth lies the pulp, which houses nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue essential for tooth vitality. When decay, trauma, or cracks penetrate this inner chamber, it can lead to intense pain and the risk of losing the tooth. This approach relieves discomfort, preserves your natural tooth structure, and restores long-term function.

Fillings
Metal-free fillings and crowns are made from advanced, biocompatible materials such as zirconia and ceramic, offering strength and longevity without the risks of metal allergies or sensitivity. These restorations are color-matched to your natural teeth, ensuring a cohesive, attractive smile for those who value both health and aesthetics.
Emergency Dental Care
Chandler’s Top Emergency Dentists
Dental emergencies can strike at any time, presenting as persistent toothaches, uncontrolled bleeding, acute infections, or jaw injuries. Emergent situations require diagnosing and treating the underlying issue, stabilizing your condition, and providing guidance for effective follow-up care. Rapid attention is critical to relieve pain, prevent complications, and safeguard your oral health.

Broken Crowns
You may be missing one tooth, several teeth, or an entire arch and want a solution that looks natural, feels stable, and supports long-term oral health.

Dental Pain
Old crowns, bridges, worn restorations, recurrent fractures, or repeated dental patchwork can make it difficult to know what should be saved and what should be rebuilt.

Cracked Tooth
If your current denture slips, rubs, limits your diet, or makes you self-conscious, we can evaluate whether a more stable removable or implant-supported option makes sense.

Abscesses
Patients referred after trauma, advanced disease, cancer treatment, or developmental conditions often need a specialist-led plan that considers function as carefully as appearance.

Knocked Out Teeth
If your current denture slips, rubs, limits your diet, or makes you self-conscious, we can evaluate whether a more stable removable or implant-supported option makes sense.

Toothaches
Patients referred after trauma, advanced disease, cancer treatment, or developmental conditions often need a specialist-led plan that considers function as carefully as appearance.
Advanced Specialties
Comprehensive Specialists to Solve Intricacies
Complex dental cases rarely involve just one specialist. For example, it’s not unheard of to be referred through a coordinated sequence of care, such as seeing the periodontist to address gum disease before a your prosthodontist places the final restoration, or working with the oral surgeon to extract and place an implant before returning to our prosthodontist for the crown.
This process often includes several influential practices, including dental sleep medicine, TMJ and orofacial pain management, cosmetic dentistry, and implantology. At our studio we try and provide an all-in-house solution to make the logistics easier for our patients.
Prosthodontics
A Prosthodontist is a restorative and replacement dentistry master that focuses on difficult and challenging oral health cases that involve damaged or missing teeth. They use computer designs and digital tools like CBCT scanners and other state-of-the-art pieces of equipment to create stunning dental prosthetics that restore function with dazzling precision. Prosthodontists are trained to solve every problem that you may have with solving snoring issues, embarrassing missing teeth, crippling jaw pain, and smile makeovers.
Sedation Dentistry
Not everyone enjoys being in the dental chair. Fortunately, our doctor is a sedation dentistry specialist, helping patients have a painless, comfortable, and relaxing experience. Let us know if you have sensitive teeth, a strong gag reflex, or feel anxious, scared, or stressed. Our team will ensure your safety and monitor you throughout your procedure whether you need IV or medicated sedation.
Periodontics
Our periodontist is a specialist in treating bone loss , gum disease, implant surgery, and soft tissue grafting. With 3 more years of intensive training after dental school they offer more specialized expertise in matters of successfully managing difficult cases.
Full-Mouth Reconstruction
Any number of things can complicate when something major goes wrong with your oral health. Enjoying your favorite meals becomes an impossible task, talking with others feels uncomfortable, and smiling leaves you self-conscious instead of confident.
Do you have no other choice but to live this way? Absolutely not! In Chandler, Arizona, Dr. Keys and Dr. Keith Cooper, DDS, CP, FICOI, at Ocotillo Dental are close by, and ready to change your life with full mouth reconstruction.
Tooth Extractions
Tooth extraction is a dental procedure completed when a tooth cannot be restored due to extensive decay, damage, or impaction. Extractions can be simple, involving the removal of teeth that have fully emerged, or surgical for teeth that are broken, impacted, or difficult to access. Every extraction is planned with your ease in mind, using local anesthesia to ensure the process is as painless and stress-free as possible. Modern techniques and personalized care reduce discomfort and support an easy recovery.
Wisdom Tooth Removal
Third molars, or wisdom teeth, usually emerge in late adolescence or early adulthood. Their arrival can lead to problems such as impaction, misalignment, or overcrowding, producing discomfort, swelling, or infection. These teeth are also more susceptible to decay and gum disease because of their location and the challenges of cleaning them. For these reasons, dentists often recommend proactive removal to avoid future problems and protect your oral health.
Orthodontics
Orthodontic care is dedicated to achieving optimal tooth and jaw alignment for both utilitarian and aesthetic benefits. Modern orthodontics offers a variety of solutions, including classic metal braces, nearly invisible clear aligners, and custom-made retainers. Each treatment plan is individually created to improve bite function, oral health, and create a pleasing, self-assured smile.

Dr. Dr. Keith Cooper, DDS, CP, FICOI, Prosthodontic-Focused Restorative Care
I currently am providing treatments in Scottsdale and Sun City West and will soon be serving you at a new South Chandler practice in Ocotillo to assist people in Sun Lakes, Fulton Ranch, Oakwood and Sun Bird communities. Below you can learn more about my expertise and experience before you book your appointment consultation at the 85248 office.
I am an implant and prosthodontic specialist and the lead clinician at AZ Implant & Denture Center in Sun City West, Arizona, at 13507 W Camino Del Sol, Suite B3 and Pristine Dental in Old Town Scottsdale.
My training background: undergraduate degree from the University of Denver, a DDS from the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University, a prosthodontics residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, and implant surgery training at Temple. (Baylor’s dental school is now Texas A&M College of Dentistry)I trained early on with Per-Ingvar Brånemark, widely considered the father of modern dental implantology, and have also taught classes at Stanford, consulted with the Stanford Study Club since 1992, and served as a prosthodontist consultant to the Seattle Study Club since 1993.

Dr. Luis Keys, DDS, MDSc, earned his dental degree from the Metropolitan Autonomous University in Mexico City, graduating first in his class, and went on to complete a general practice residency at the general hospital in Querétaro. He pursued specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut, where he also earned a Master of Dental Science, and remained there to complete a fellowship in dental implant research and surgery. He later received advanced surgical training at the University of Bern in Switzerland, an institution internationally recognized for its work in implant dentistry.
Dr. Keys maintains active membership in the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Dr. Keys has spent his career focused on implant dentistry, placing and restoring implants for patients seeking to regain both function and confidence. He lectures on implant-related topics for colleagues in his field, and outside the practice he volunteers his time with Catalina Helping Hands.

Dr. Claudio Cosio, DMD, FAGD, began his academic path at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. He went on to pursue dentistry at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2021. Committed to staying current with evolving techniques, he pursues ongoing coursework through Spear Study Club and expanded his surgical skill set with advanced implant training during an intensive five-day program in Cartagena, Colombia.
An active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Cosio earned his Fellowship in 2026… a distinction awarded only to dentists who complete more than 500 hours of continuing education and pass a rigorous examination covering the full scope of comprehensive dentistry. Fewer than one in ten general dentists hold it.
A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Cosio relocated to Tempe, Arizona, in 2024 following dental school in Glendale. When he isn’t caring for patients, you’ll usually find him outdoors – playing and watching sports, hiking local trails, fishing, or settling in with a good book.

Dr. Justin Waters DMD CP, FICOI is the owner of Serenity Smiles and Hayden Family Dentistry in Scottsdale. An Arizona native, he headed to New Mexico State University in Las Cruces for his undergraduate studies, earning degrees in Biology and Chemistry, then returned home to attend Midwestern University in Glendale, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
After several years as an associate at other practices, Dr. Waters opened a practice of his own in the Cave Creek area. A clinic built around the kind of care he wanted to deliver. Serving his community and providing the highest level of care remain the most rewarding parts of the profession for him. He has developed a particular focus on implant-supported dentures, both snap-in and fixed, and holds an advanced certification in this area of treatment. He also pursues continuing education regularly to stay current with advances in cosmetic dentistry. Smile makeovers are his favorite procedure, veneers especially, and he has volunteered his time on several makeover cases with the Tuttle Shuttle, a Scottsdale-based charity that brings free dental care to Arizonans who lack access to it. He finds it remarkable what a new smile can do for a patient’s confidence and overall well-being.

Cleaning & Check Up
I have to say awesome service. I got my cleaning and the hygienist did a thorough job on cleaning my teeth. She gave me some extra cleaning instructions on how I should brush as she could tell on areas that needed attention. I got my exam done and only needed one crown. Dr. Cosio was very informative and explained why I needed a crown. I love the customer service here, the beautiful view of the water, and the office smelled so nice not like a healthcare office. Great dental office
